NEW UPDATE! October 2026
💙🩷 ELDER PEP IS STILL HERE! 🩷💙
It's been over a year since Elder Pep Day Club closed its doors in June 2025, and I'm happy to announce that our website is officially back online as of October 30!
Although the Day Club has been on hiatus, Elder Pep has remained active in other capacities. I've continued working with seniors through private, individualized services under the Elder Pep umbrella. However, my heart has never left our own Day Club and the wonderful "family" we created together.
I'm continuing my search for a new home for Elder Pep in the Bon Air/North Chesterfield area. My goal isn't simply to find an available room. I'm looking for a welcoming space that allows me the independence and freedom to operate Elder Pep as I originally envisioned it, preserving the creativity, personal connections, and experiences that made our program stand out from the rest.
And that's worth waiting for.
In the meantime, I hope you'll continue following our journey via Facebook and visiting our newly reactivated website to stay up to date on our progress. Thank you for your continued support and encouragement. I haven't given up on Elder Pep, and I'm so grateful you haven't either! 🙏❤️
Upon reopening, the schedule will be Tuesdays and Fridays, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the opportunity to expand our schedule as membership grows.
While we're currently searching for our new home, the pricing information on this website reflects what families can expect when our program resumes. Membership enrollment will reopen once our new location is confirmed.
Our Facebook page features photographs and highlights from our original program, which operated three days per week. These are still provided to give prospective families and potential host organizations a glimpse into the enriching experiences that made Elder Pep so special. ✨️
If you represent a church, community organization, or other establishment with a suitable space and would be interested in hosting Elder Pep Day Club, I'd love to hear from you! Contact Diane Yane via email at info@elderpep.com.
We look forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces in this next chapter! 🩷💙 XO Diane

Dear Elder Pep Community,
After three wonderful years of joy, creativity, new friendships, and connection, Elder Pep Day Club will be closing its doors at the end of June 2025.
This decision comes as our current location will no longer be available to us due to building use changes on the property. While this change is outside of our control, we are so grateful to St. Michael’s Episcopal Church for graciously hosting us this past year—and for giving us the freedom to shape the space in a way that truly reflected the heart of Elder Pep, allowing our program to thrive and feel like home.
After much thought, I’ve decided to take this moment to pause and reflect on what’s next. Although our chapter at St. Michael’s is coming to a close, this is not the end. I’m currently exploring new ways to reshape and reimagine my program for the future—because I truly believe in what we've built and the joy it brings to our seniors and their families. Elder Pep is not over—it’s simply evolving. ️
To my members and families- Though this chapter is closing, I am so deeply proud of what we’ve built and honored by the trust so many of you have placed in me. Your encouragement, loyalty, and love have meant everything.
To the community members that helped keep us going through your donations and support- Thank you all for being a part of our Elder Pep story. Please continue to follow us on Facebook for updates on my commitment to enhancing the lives of our seniors.
With gratitude,
Diane Yane, Founder & Director, Elder Pep Day Club (Est. February 2022)

Get out of the house! Why it’s important for older adults to be social.
Aside from having the opportunity to live a higher quality of life, social interaction and stimulating activities present some very important health benefits for senior citizens, such as: a potentially reduced risk of dementia, reduced stress, more fitness, reduced risk of depression, greater self-esteem, and most importantly, prevents self-isolation.
Caring for a loved one?
Caring for an aging loved one can be incredibly stressful, even on the best days. We understand that you want to keep them at home, and you too, need a break for social time or even work. That’s where we come in.
